Coaching
1
Our Camp Coaching Workshops are uniquely designed for those delivering archery programming in camp or outdoor ministry settings. Whether you're a first-time instructor, a seasoned cabin leader, or a youth mentor stepping into a new role, these workshops equip you with the tools and confidence needed to lead safe, engaging, and faith-positive archery experiences.
Beginner Camp Coaching Sessions focus on the essentials—range safety, basic shooting technique, group management, adaptable lesson planning, and how to encourage young archers with a positive, Christ-centered approach. These workshops are perfect for those transitioning from participant to leader or for camp staff looking to build a strong foundation.
For more seasoned instructors, our Advanced Camp Coaching Development sessions dive deeper into teaching strategies tailored for diverse camp settings. Topics include biomechanics, faith-integrated coaching language, mental resilience tools for youth, individualized instruction, and preparing campers for friendly competitions or skill progression awards. We also explore how to integrate archery into camp themes and character-building goals.
These sessions go beyond technical skill—they aim to shape coaches into role models who inspire growth both on and off the range.
Youth Camps
2
Our Youth Archery Camps offer a dynamic, hands-on experience where young archers can build skills, form friendships, and grow in confidence—all within a supportive and values-based environment. These camps are ideal for youth groups, homeschool communities, or families looking for periodic archery-based programming with a wholesome, encouraging focus.
Camps are available in half-day and full-day formats, suited for a variety of ages and experience levels—from curious first-timers to returning participants eager to develop their technique. Each camp session blends meaningful instruction with exciting challenges, interactive games, and team-based activities that promote focus, discipline, and joy.
Campers will learn:
Range safety and etiquette
Proper shooting form and technique
Target games and accuracy drills
Cooperative and character-building group exercises
We offer seasonal camps during school breaks—including themed winter and summer break sessions—as well as occasional youth archery group days throughout the year. Whether it’s your child’s first time picking up a bow or their next step in growing stronger as a young athlete, our camps provide a safe and memorable archery adventure rooted in connection and personal growth.
Leadership Development
3
Our Leadership Development programs are rooted in the belief that true leadership is about service, character, and calling. Designed especially for youth, emerging coaches, and those seeking to lead with heart, these sessions nurture the skills needed to guide others—both on the archery range and in everyday life.
Through Christ-centered mentorship, hands-on coaching opportunities, and team-based activities, participants grow in:
Confidence and humble authority
Clear, compassionate communication
Responsibility, reliability, and initiative
Encouragement-driven, servant-style leadership
Each session weaves spiritual reflection with practical leadership skills, helping individuals explore their God-given gifts and learn to lead with purpose and grace. Whether you're stepping into a coaching role or simply want to become a stronger mentor in your community, this program fosters integrity, resilience, and a deep sense of connection—empowering participants to be light-bearers in sport and life.
Faith-based Workshops
4
Our Faith-Based Coaching Workshops go beyond technique—they’re about answering a higher calling. These sessions are designed for coaches, mentors, and leaders who want to weave their walk with Christ into every arrow released, every word spoken, and every lesson taught.
More than just skill development, this is a time of spiritual reflection and purpose-driven training. Participants will explore how coaching can become a form of discipleship, learning to mentor not only the athlete—but the soul. Through Scripture-based teachings, prayerful guidance, and hands-on application, we unpack topics such as:
Christ-like leadership in competitive spaces
Creating spiritually safe and encouraging environments
The ministry of mentorship through sport
Living out integrity, patience, and grace under pressure
This workshop is ideal for anyone feeling called to coach with a deeper sense of mission—where heart, skill, and Spirit come together. Whether you're a camp instructor, club leader, or volunteer, Faith in Focus invites you to coach with clarity, compassion, and Christ at the center.
