Disclaimer

Last updated: September 1, 2025

At Birchwood Archery, we believe in creating a space where everyone feels welcome, respected, and safe—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The following disclaimers are provided to ensure full transparency about who we are, how we operate, and what you can expect when participating in our programs.

1. Inclusivity & Respect

  • Birchwood Archery is a faith-based program, rooted in Christian values and Biblical principles. At the same time, we welcome individuals and families of all faiths, cultures, identities, and backgrounds.

  • While we are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEI-A) and that no one will be turned away on the basis of race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, cultural background, ability, or beliefs. We still strengthen our values in Christian and Biblical principles.

  • We ask all participants, parents, and staff to uphold an environment of mutual respect. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusionary behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Accessibility & Barrier-Free Commitment

  • We aim to keep our programs as barrier-free as possible. If cost, equipment, transportation, or accessibility creates a challenge, we encourage families to reach out. We will do our best to provide solutions, whether through loaner equipment, alternate arrangements, or community support.

  • Birchwood Archery lessons are hosted at Birch Bay Ranch, which is a large outdoor facility. While the grounds are designed for active programs, not all areas may be fully accessible. Please contact us in advance to discuss accessibility needs so we can best accommodate you.

3. Faith & Values

  • Birchwood Archery is guided by Biblical values that speak to all people: patience, respect, humility, encouragement, self-control, and love for others. These values are reflected both on and off the range.

  • While we are a Christian, faith-based club, our doors are open to everyone. Participation in spiritual elements (prayer, devotion, reflection) is offered but never required.

  • Our goal is not to divide or push an agenda, but to provide a safe, respectful, and uplifting environment where athletes and families can grow in both skill and character through archery.

4. Sports & Safety Disclaimer

  • Archery is a sport with inherent risks. While we operate under strict safety standards, all participation is at your own risk.

  • Birchwood Archery operates under:
